The Muppet master inspects his maze & monster story inside out.
Starlog #106 "Writing through the "Labyrinth"

These next few are of a better quality, although somewhat repititous, since the author is the same. They are obviously from the same interview, but parts were printed in different magazines. There's also a short article on David Bowie that appeared with Jennifer Connelly's interview in Teen Idols Mania. (Please don't look at me that way! I was thirteen when I bought it!)
Previously posted to the Labyrinth mailing list were a few paragraphs concerning Labyrinth from an issue of Goldmine magazine dedicated mostly to David Bowie.
Previously posted to the Labyrinth mailing list was this short excerpt from The Story of Jim Henson, Creator of the Muppets.
I typed out the brief mention of Labyrinth from a recent David Bowie biography.

The World of Jim Henson - a wonderful documentary about Jim Henson. However, there was a whopping 2 minutes 35 seconds on Labyrinth which I have transcribed.

from where most of the pictures on these pages come. There is also a Storybook based on the Movie which I am trying to track down from various sources. The covers of the three books I have can be seen in Gallery 4. I've also typed up the notes from the back of the novel and I may do the same with the introduction from The Goblin Companion. However, this book is the only one of the Labyrinth books currently still in print, and I am hesitant to infringe on copyright. Caillean had some excerpts at her site "Within A Land Serene" which is currently undergoing rennovations.

Issue #1 - November 1986, Issue #2 - December 1986, Issue #3 - January 1987. The only differences between these two formats is that the magazine-style comic is printed on higher quality paper and has two less pages than the three-issue. The second and third issues each have one extra page showing where we left Sarah in the previous issue. These pages obviously weren't necessary for the all-in-one volume. A big thanks to Mischelle for providing me with the individual comics!

The letterbox version of Labyrinth, available only on laserdisc, has more extensive liner notes than the cassette pan-and-scan. You can take a look at the back cover, the inside covers, and the chapter index.
